Programme Highlights

The SOE for M.Tech in Civil Engineering spans across four semesters, with a focus on enhancing the knowledge and refining the existing skills of professionals who are currently working in the field of civil engineering. The program aims to develop a robust intellectual foundation in contemporary technologies, with specific emphasis on particular domains and relevant practical applications.
To be eligible for this program, applicants must have completed their B.E./B.Tech in civil engineering. Additionally, the applicant should possess a minimum of two years of full-time, relevant work experience from a registered government or autonomous organisation, company, educational institute, industry, or firm.
Upon successful completion of this program, the degree obtained by the candidates is valid for employment across all sectors throughout the country, as the course is sanctioned and approved by AICTE.
This program is conducted in a hybrid format that blends online classes with in-person classes held in the evenings, on weekends, and holidays at the campus. Following the live classes, students can access recorded video classes through the Learning Management System (LMS) with no restrictions. Labs are conducted every Saturday on campus, or students can participate remotely using virtual simulations.
To provide students with practical lab experience in real-time, virtual and remote labs with simulations are available round-the-clock. These labs can be accessed remotely, enabling students to gain exposure to real-world scenarios beyond regular lab hours.
The student's progress is continuously assessed through diverse learning pedagogies, such as sessional examinations, quizzes, assignments, practicals, and semester examinations. The assessment results are provided to the students to offer feedback on their performance.

Qualification :-

Completed B.E. or B.Tech in civil engineering.
Minimum of 2 years of full-time work experience in a relevant industry at a registered workplace.

Programme duration :-

The program extends over a duration of 2 years, spread across 4 academic semesters.
An additional 4th semester is included in the program, dedicated to VIVA, Project Work, and Industrial Training.
The course curriculum comprises theoretical coursework and virtual labs, where experiments are conducted remotely using simulations.
