Programme Highlights

  1. The M.Tech in Structural Engineering SOE Program consists of four semesters and is designed to enhance the knowledge and refine the existing skills of professionals in the civil engineering field. The program is structured to provide a strong intellectual foundation in contemporary technologies, with a specific focus on practical applications in specific domains.
  2. In order to be eligible for the M.Tech in Structural Engineering SOE Program, applicants must have completed their B.E./B.Tech in the relevant field. Furthermore, they must have a minimum of two years of full-time relevant work experience from a registered government or autonomous organisation, company, educational institute, industry, or firm.
  3. The M.Tech in Structural Engineering course offered in flexible time shifts adheres to the norms specified by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in the Approval Process Handbook, which is released periodically.
  4. Live and interactive classes are conducted during weekdays (in the evening time), on weekends, and holidays in the flexible time shifts. After the completion of classes, recorded lectures are accessible through the Learning Management System (LMS) for unlimited viewing. Labs are conducted every Saturday at the campus, and alternatively, virtual simulations are conducted and can be accessed through virtual and remote modes with the help of simulations.
  5. The M.Tech in Structural Engineering SOE Program provides students with practical lab experience through virtual and remote labs with simulations that are available 24/7. These labs can be accessed remotely, allowing students to gain exposure to real-world scenarios beyond regular lab hours. This enables them to develop their skills and knowledge and gain a deeper understanding of the subject matter.
  6. The course employs various learning pedagogies, including sessional examinations, quizzes, assignments, practicals, and semester examinations, to continuously evaluate the students' performance. Programme Curriculum

Programme duration :-

  1. The course consists of a total of four academic semesters, spanning over 2 years.
  2. The additional four semester is dedicated to VIVA, Project Work, and Industrial Training.
  3. The curriculum of the program includes both theoretical coursework and practical training. In addition to traditional classroom learning, virtual labs are also available, providing students with the opportunity to conduct experiments remotely using simulations.
